Bashas’ Community Support Card is a great way to generate funds for your organization. Here’s how it works:
- Your organization purchases the Community Support Card and receives a 6% discount. The Community Support Card offers your supporters a choice where to shop, as it is accepted at all Bashas’, Food City and AJ’s stores.
- Your organization then sells the Community Support Card to supporters at face value and receives a 6% profit.
- Your supporters can reload their Community Support Card at Bashas’, Food City and AJ’s Fine Foods stores and your organization will earn 6% of the reload amount.
- Earnings from reloaded Community Support Cards will be distributed once a month.
To enroll your organization in Bashas’ Community Support Card, simply submit a letter with your organization’s name and address stating your interest in participating with our program, plus a copy of the notice from the IRS stating that you are registered as a charitable organization under IRS code section 501(c)3 to: communitycard@bashas.com or call 1-877-384-4960
- Who is eligible to sign up for the program? How long does it take for my organization to be enrolled?
- Any charitable organization that is registered with the IRS under code section 501(c)3.
- Typically it takes about a week to be enrolled in our system before orders can be accepted.
- What if I currently do not have a 501(c)3?
- Unfortunately, in order to be apart of the program you must submit the required
501(c)3 document to enroll.

- Is there a minimum amount you must order?
- Yes, there is a $200 minimum per order. The order can be of any denomination combination.
- What denominations do the cards come in?
- The cards can be purchased in denominations ranging from $5 – $500.
- What is the discount I will receive when I place my order?
- Every order will receive a 6% discount.
- How will I receive the cards?
- Your order can either be sent to a store location nearest you or you may pick up the order at the Corporate Office – in some cases the order may be mailed out.
- How will our supporters reload the cards?
- Your supporters will reload their Community Support Card at any one of our store locations prior to making their regular purchase.
- Will I receive a statement showing the amount of reloads within that month?
- Yes, a monthly statement will be mailed out the first week of the following month – followed by your rebate check.
- How will I pay for my order?
- Orders can be paid by credit card over the phone or at the time of pick up with a check made payable to: Bashas’ Inc.
- When will my order be ready to pick up?
- Orders are processed every afternoon and put in the mailroom the next morning. Unfortunately, we are not able to give an exact day the store will receive them as our truck routes change on a weekly basis. Typically, the store should receive the order within a few days. However, if the order is to be picked up at the Corporate Office, they will be available for pick up the next business day.
- Are any items excluded?
- Bashas’ Gift Card Policy prohibits the purchase of the following items with any Bashas’ Community Support Card:
- Lottery Tickets
- Money Orders
- Money Transfers
